I don’t know what it’s like where you live, but it is so hot here and I’ve been craving anything and everything cold. If we’re friends on Instagram, you may know that I have gestational diabetes this pregnancy, so my diet is somewhat restricted at the moment. I’ve been experimenting with new recipes and although I’ve had a few fails, I’ve discovered some new fun combinations! (Note: Everyone is different. If you have GD, this may not work for you.) Today I want to share this 5 ingredient easy peanut butter banana smoothie. It’s so good, you have to try it!
5 Ingredient Easy Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie
Ingredients
- peanut butter (spoonful)
- plain greek yogurt (2 spoonfuls)
- oat milk (fill blender a quarter or half way)
- half frozen banana
- fill the rest of blender with ice
Add all of the ingredients into the blender, and enjoy! It’s super easy, but the flavor is so good. Especially with my current restrictions, I often crave something sweet and am definitely missing my ice cream. This is such a good fix and I will be enjoying it for the rest of this pregnancy for sure. If you try it, share it and tag me! I can’t wait to see what you think.
