We are officially entering into the last week of November, which means Christmas is right around the corner. I am the kind of girl that waits until after Thanksgiving to start officially decorating for Christmas, but when it comes to holiday shopping, especially this year, I like to get ahead of it. Now that I’m married, my family has gotten bigger and the list has gotten longer. If you follow along on Instagram, you may have seen some of my other gift guides. When it comes to gift giving, I like to get creative and tend to lean towards something that has meaning behind it. There are so many talented artists and creatives who work really hard on their craft. It’s not only important to support them, but it’s so fun to find gifts that are unique and that you can’t find anywhere else. One of my dear friends launched a company called Contemporary Keepsakes.

Contemporary Keepsakes is a beautiful, hand crafted piece of work that makes memories last forever. Here’s how it works: You choose a photo and send it in with a handwritten message that you would like to go in the frame. The actual handwriting will be used, which makes it even more special. Here are some photos of the pictures my husband and I have on our night stands that were made by Contemporary Keepsakes. Instead of exchanging our own vows, we wrote each other a letter on our wedding day. We both chose a line from the letters and now we have them as a daily reminder by our bedside.
