How I Find Energy When Working From Home

What I thought would be a few weeks of working from home, has turned into many months. I’m sure there are a few, if not many of you out there that can relate. There is a large portion of our population working from home and for some, it can be challenging. Working from home is much different than working in an office. It can be lonely, distracting and difficult. Sticking to a routine. Developing a routine and sticking to it has helped tremendously. When you go to a physical office, it’s easy to go through the motions. You wake up at a certain time, leave and arrive to work at a certain time. It is almost like clock work. When you’re at home, it is more tempting to snooze the alarm and leisurely make your way to your desk. If you follow a routine, it will help you stay more disciplined and focused.

Schedule time away from your desk. I always make sure to take a step outside around lunch time. Even if you don’t feel like you need a break, it’s good for your mind to take a step away for a few moments and refresh. It doesn’t have to be a long time, but at least some time.

Celebrate at the end of the work day. As I mentioned before, I now get a little boost in my day after discovering Poland Spring® Sparkling Energy Water Beverage, I have found myself discovering new hobbies, revisiting old ones and just enjoying my free time so much more.
