I’m super excited about today’s post! Today I am sharing with an easy and affordable way to transform your front entrance. I’ve shared a little bit of this on my Instagram stories, but I have all of the before/after photos and information on what we purchased to share with you here today.

There was absolutely nothing wrong with the way the front door looked, but I just felt like it needed a little something. I found an inspo picture on Pinterest that I liked and that’s what started this project. Pinterest is the best to find inspiration and ideas. If you have been following for awhile, you know that we have been loving the projects of our home. In case you missed it, here’s how we flipped our kitchen for under $2,000. I’ll be sharing more as we get to it…we have been pretty slow moving over here.

Front Entrance Transformation

The first thing we did was paint the door. There was just something about the red that didn’t sit right with us. It wasn’t terrible, but in person it was more of a purple-red and we just didn’t like it. We grabbed some black paint and love how it turned out. The black now matches our shutters and the house looks super cute.

Like I mentioned, after scrolling through Pinterest, I found a photo with the house numbers displayed and immediately showed my husband. He assembled something very similar using wood and these numbers from Home Depot. We actually purchased the 6 inch and ended up returning them and buying the 5 inch. The 6 inch numbers were too big for the space we had. You can also get them on Amazon.

This piece has a flower box and I love that we are able to add seasonal decor throughout the year. These hydrangeas are actually from our bush in our front yard. I can’t wait to decorate it for Christmas! I think it adds so much to this space and I absolutely love how it turned out.

The light that came with the house has always given us issues. Every night when it came on it would start flashing, and needless to say, I don’t think our neighbors appreciated that very much. We found a light on Amazon that is programmed to be on from dusk to dawn and it goes so nicely with our black front door. You can view it here. It looks soo cute at night!

We have a few more ideas up our sleeve for this space, but for now this is where we are at and are totally in love with it. You don’t need to do much to spruce up a space. I hope you enjoyed our front entrance transformation. Be sure to check back for more home updates!
