Now that they’ve all officially accepted, I can share how I asked my girls to stand by my side on the big day. I was so excited about this and had always envisioned how I would ask. There are hundreds of creative ideas all over the internet. You can actually find pre-made boxes if you don’t want to do it yourself, but it’s so much fun to get creative and make them unique to you.

I knew I wanted to make my proposal boxes personalized and I also wanted them to be practical. There are a lot of cute ideas, but the items will most likely be worn or used one time and will get tossed. I wanted to include something that would be special and would be used everyday. Let’s take a look inside the boxes.

Personalized Bridesmaids Coffee Mugs

I found the cutest mugs ever on Amazon that were incredibly personal and shipped really fast. I was so happy when I found these! They are so cute, really good quality and not a bad price. You can actually customize them down to the hair color. They have brown, blonde, black and red for every girl. You can customize the back of the robes to say bride, maid of honor or bridesmaid. I immediately knew this was what I wanted because it is something the girls will use everyday or at least see in their cabinet everyday.

Fuzzy Socks

I don’t know one person that doesn’t love a good pair of fuzzy socks. These are great and came in a pack of seven. The quality is great and the colors are really beautiful. Again, everyone can use a pair of socks and I loved the idea of throwing a pair into the proposal boxes for the girls.

The Cards

There are so many options online and I chose to go with something that matched the colors I am using for my wedding. I got a pack of 10 that came with 8 bridesmaid cards and 2 maid of honor cards. The quality of these are great and the colors are really beautiful. They’re perfect to add to your proposal box.

The Box

The actual box itself I found on Amazon as well. These were definitely not as strong as I thought and wouldn’t hold much more weight than this but they were perfect for what I was doing. The package came with 12 boxes and twine to tie around the box. I really liked the size of them.

Personalization

This it totally up to you but I thought it was a really nice touch to add photos to the inside of the box. It wasn’t in my original plan but I’m so glad I did it because it just made the box that much more special.
