We have been engaged for only 16 days but we have accomplished so much. As a young girl and even into my teenage years I always dreamt about what this time of my life would be like. The best way to explain how I feel is, so much is changing so fast.
In case you missed it, here’s our proposal story.
Our Proposal Story
Everyone’s story is different and with long distance being the center of our story, this next chapter means that the hours spent apart are coming to a close. So on top of a wedding, that means buying a house, finding a new job, looking at barns and essentially, starting over in a new place, with new people and new adventures. The best part? It’s going to bring Eddie and I closer and we get to conquer this together.
So, in 16 days, we have picked a date, booked a venue, completed our guest list, booked hair and makeup, found a photographer and I’m going to look at dresses tomorrow! We are crossing things off the list because we are already 7 months away from the big day. Planning a wedding is so much fun and I am going to share as much along the way as I can.
What has been a big help throughout this process is my planner from Erin Condren. Instead of getting a traditional wedding planner, I opted for their new Petite Planner Folio System (it’s on sale today!). You can customize your folio system with four or more inserts of your choice.
Petite Planners
Here are some of the inserts you can choose from: Wellness Log, Self-Care Journal, Budget Book, Monthly Planner, Blank Journal, Meal Planner, Breast Cancer Journal Planner, Medical Treatment Log Planner, Daily Customizable Agenda Planner, Wedding Checklists & To-Dos, Moments to Remember, Pregnancy Journal, Gratitude Journal, Goal Setting Journal and more.
I chose the Monthly Planner, Wedding Check Lists & To-Dos, Self-Care Journal and Moments to Remember. I thought these make for a great way to track everything and have a beautiful folio to look back on and remember the planning process.
