Our Love Story

June 25,2018 – our two year anniversary! I can’t even believe it has been that long. Time seriously flies and the older I get the more I realize that ya gotta stop and enjoy it before it slips away. I am huge on memories. I have a serious problem deleting pictures and because of that I don’t own one device that has any storage left. I LOVE capturing memories. I make YouTube videos on my GoPro and recently, got my first professional camera. Anyways, our love story began two years ago and we have made so many incredible memories along the way. Today, I’m here to tell you all about it.

Background

Eddie and I both attended a private university in Northwest Pennsylvania and he was a year ahead of me. I always knew who he was but our paths never crossed. Him and I both have a few distinct memories of passing each other and we reminisce about that all the time. We shared the same tiny university for four years and two of those years we actually lived across the street from each other (not even realizing it.) My senior year of college was his first year of grad school and luckily, he chose to stick around the area for PA school.

How We Met

It was a month from graduation and I was just trying to spend as much time having fun with my friends as I could before we went our separate ways. My room mate and I always talked about how we thought we were meant to find our soulmates during our four years of college (we were hopeless romantics). We joked about it, laughed about it and realized that our time had run out and we were moving on to the next stage in our lives. One freezing, snowy April night (it was actually 28 degrees that night), I went downtown with some of my girlfriends. The night was coming to a close and we were on the dance floor when I felt a tap on my shoulder. Guess who? Eddie. I actually don’t even remember what we talked about for the next two minutes but all of a sudden it felt like the scene in Cinderella when the clock struck midnight, except when I fled the scene I brought him with me. Long story short, him and I didn’t make it on the bus and while we waited for a ride, he kept me out of the freezing cold and made sure I got home safely.

We didn’t talk for a week after that and I was always typing a text message, erasing it and waiting another day until finally I reached out to him and thanked him again for getting me a ride home and that lead to us hanging out again and haven’t stopped since.

Here are some pictures of the last two years.
