If you’re anything like my sisters and me, you probably are always looking for simple and delicious recipes that don’t take up a lot of time. Well, if you are going to a holiday party this year and need something simple, we have just the thing – peanut butter pie! There are a lot of variations to this pie but this is how we like it and it will only take you 30 minutes at the most. The beauty of this recipe is that you can be creative and use substitutes to tailor to your tastes (i.e. Oreo Crust and crushed Oreos on top).
Peanut Butter Pie Ingredients:
1 pack of chocolate pudding
Milk
1 cup peanut butter
2 tbsp confectionary sugar
1 graham cracker pie crust
Cool whip
Reeses cups
Step 1: Prep the chocolate pudding and peanut butter
Get two mixing bowls and prep the chocolate pudding (follow the directions on the box) and in a different bowl, mix 1 cup of peanut butter with 2 tbsp of confectionary sugar and stir until the peanut butter becomes thick. You can add more of one if you prefer one over the other.
Step 2: Fill in the pie crust
Spread the peanut butter on the bottom of the pie crust until the bottom is covered. Pour the pudding over the peanut butter and spread across the pie.
Step 3: Decorate the pie
Top the pie with cool whip and crushed up Reese’s cups. You can substitute a candy of your preference if you so choose. It is easy to crush them in a bowl first and then drop onto the pie.
Enjoy!
While you’re enjoying the pie, check out these Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals. I also have added holiday gift guides for her and for him. I will be updating these throughout the holiday season so keep checking back and shop!
